Interested in learning more about returnships? Our Returnship Toolkit is a free resource that guides employers through the design of a returnship program. Much like internships, returnships are an option for employers to engage with people who left the workforce for retirement or other reasons and are interested in returning. Returnships offer an easy, supportive transition back into the workforce after a period of separation. Designed for flexibility and skills-enhancement, returnships provide an employment option that benefits both employers and people interested in returning to employment. 

Objectives for this session:

Explain what returnships are and how they are beneficial to employers

Design a returnship program for their business or organization

Incorporate returnships into their hiring process

Our Speaker:

Ali Bilden Camps

Ali joined Northspan in 2022 as a Consultant and provides community and organizational development services. Ali manages the NORTHFORCE program by connecting career-minded individuals with professional advancement opportunities and supporting our regional employers’ current and future workforce needs.

Ali brings over 15 years of nonprofit management and community development experience including working with organizations and individuals across all sectors. She has roots in northern Wisconsin and has called northeast Minnesota home for almost 20 years.
