Will and Able: a Tale of Two Different Team Members”

Will is so excited for his new role in the organization. His enthusiasm bubbles out from his toes, yet he bumbles and stumbles over the correct processes for his daily tasks. He's willing, but not yet able. Able, on the other hand has worked for the organization for 15 years and knows how to do just about everyone's job, yet his willingness to assist team members and clients left the building years ago. Joe has the "ability" but not so much the "want to".  Will (willingness) and Able (ability) - or lack thereof - often frustrate leaders and team members.  This session will address the 4 combinations of willingness and ability and provide different strategies that will help you engage your team members more fully, enhance productivity, and performance.

Kathlynn McConnell holds a B.A.S.
