1. Discuss and evaluate "Design Thinking" models
2. Discover exercises for individual creativity development
3. Examine and then reframe your own situations like a designer
Designers are problem solvers at heart. And because the "problems to be solved" change constantly, we are constantly adapting and honing our creativity to meet those challenges. I want to offer a session that gives other professionals a peek inside the designer mind and resources they can take back to work and home with them for their own day-to-day problem solving.
Naomi Christenson has a BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Dance. She's worked as a designer, in web and print, professionally for over 10 years. While working in these positions for others, she's also had numerous freelance projects and collaborations with other artists, performers and designers on her own. Naomi is a Toastmaster as well and last year competed in the International Speech contest, advancing to the District level.
