Paula Pedersen

Using Principles and Practices from the Center for Courage and Renewal, Dr. Paula Pedersen, instructor for UMD Continuing Education, will present on the importance of renewal in her own life and work. She will share ideas around merging identity with integrity, role with soul, authenticity and vulnerability toward our own hidden wholeness.

  • Upon completion of this seminar, participants will discover the ways to stay true to our authentic selves in our personal and professional lives.
  • Understand the role that vulnerability plays in our ability to connect with others
  • Develop strategies for renewal and resilience in the midst of challenging circumstances.

ATD welcomes Paula Pederson for May’s program!

Paula J. Pedersen, instructor for UMD Continuing is an assistant professor of Psychology and currently Faculty Fellow for Intercultural Initiatives at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Along with her training and administrative duties, Paula is an interculturalist and consultant to educational and leadership groups seeking self-awareness and strategies toward intercultural effectiveness. She is a licensed psychologist and a facilitator with the Center for Courage and Renewal, facilitating retreats based on the work of Parker J. Palmer.
