Work Smarter Not Harder
Morning Session - Presented by Christy Clay

Workplace Bullies: Trends, Practices and Responses

Afternoon Session - Presented by Maria Cuzzo

Day Program-Morning Session: There are no short cuts, but there are proven ways to work smarter, not harder. Come learn how to strengthen six key components that are foundational in all successful businesses.  From the book Traction, we’ll share simple tools and disciplines to help you simplify and clarify your vision, execute faster and address common and recurring issues that may be preventing efficiency and innovation in your business.

Christy uses her energy, insight and expertise to facilitate growth and improvement for entrepreneurial businesses with revenues of $2M-$50M.  A natural at creative problem solving, her success stems from her “multi-colored parachute” where she weaves her 25 years of entrepreneurial and corporate experiences to help align organizations ensuring the optimization of people, planning and processes.  Raised in a family of entrepreneurs and four times business owner, Christy’s expertise includes driving strategy, sales and relationship management, organization development, marketing communications and process improvement.  When Christy discovered the transformational business system, EOS®, she knew it would be of tremendous value to her clients, “Strategic planning is a great start, but driving your vision deep into the organization and bringing your people along with you takes intention, discipline and great tools”. EOS accomplishes this while also getting to the root cause of common and recurring issues that often prevent efficiency and innovation.  As a Professional EOS Implementer, Christy focuses on helping business owners and their leadership teams get control of their organizations and improve their quality of life.

Day Program-Afternoon Session: This interactive session explores workplace bullying from basic practical and legal definitions to proactive responses that individuals and organizations can take to reduce the incidence and prevalence of bullying.  Participants will learn how bullying works and who the key players are in a typical bullying scenario.  The session will explore cycles, consequences and techniques of bullying at work.  Finally, participants can select from several proactive responses that range from individual to organizational efforts to decrease bullying.  Several practical tools and instruments related to bullying assessment will be provided by the presenter.  Interactive dialogues with and between participants will occur throughout the session.
