What do people find when they Google you? This high-energy presentation will provide individuals with the tips and tools needed to effectively manage their personal brand on social media and more. Secondly, our presentation lends insight from the perspective of employers: in what ways are companies successfully harnessing great talent through social media? How can employers begin to utilize some of these methods?

Upon completion of the presentation, participants will:

  • Determine personal and professional digital identity strengths and weaknesses
  • Obtain practical tips and resources for effectively communicating personal brand online
  • Gain insight on how social media has impacted the recruiting landscape
  • Obtain ideas and resources on how employers strategically engage with various social media platforms

Dina is a Career Counselor at The College of St. Scholastica, specializing in internship development, employee engagement and campus recruiting. She has also taught courses in writing and business career planning.

Carrie can be found at a variety of local little league and college baseball games, running the lakewalk (often with Dina), and experiencing the sites and tastes of the North Shore.
